Costco D.C. Scholarship Fund Criteria |

Costco is the scholarship sponsor, and underwrites the breakfast. $25,000 sponsors will also have their name on these scholarships.

Scholarship Awards |
|
The goal is to raise a million dollars to support scholarships of up to $5,000 per year (maximum of 5 years).
|
|
|
|
Scholarship Recipients |
Scholarship to be awarded to students who are committed to earning a bachelor’s degree.
Students must have a 2.75 GPA or higher.
Students must commit to participate in program to support retention in college.
Students must be eligible for a college Pell Grant.
Students must be planning to pursue or already pursuing a baccalaureate or bachelor’s degree.
Students must have filed a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) if eligible. If not eligible to submit a FAFSA, alternative financial information must be submitted to the DC College Success Foundation.
Students must be planning to enroll or actually be enrolled full-time as a college student, 12 credits per quarter or equivalent for semester.

Scholarship Providers |
Scholarship funds will be issued on behalf of the student recipient to the 501(c)(3) scholarship organization for processing.
Eligible scholarship organizations must commit to providing assistance to students while they are in college to support retention.

The Costco Scholarship Fund is administered by the DC College Success
Foundation, a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization, TIN #20-5561911. All gifts,
excluding the value of goods and services received, are fully tax-deductible
charitable contributions to the Foundation.
